Lessons Learned - Week 2

1. This week I (Emily) learned the ever-important lesson that the contact after a plastic frisby is thrown at my face does not hurt quite as bad as I previously assumed.
2. Leaving your gas burner on (with no flame) while you are out for several hours can make your entire apartment smell pretty bad. Hopefully, we won’t be needing the lesson including the flame.
3. Apparently, the quickest way to get our neighbors out of their apartments to come talk to us is to stand in the courtyard area, look up, and point at some windows while we talk to each other.
On a more serious note, we are in the third week of our language class. Please continue to pray that we will retain the information being taught and have the energy to study in the evenings.
Also, please pray for our teammate, MacKenzie, who is going through a difficult pregnancy. Pray that her energy would increase and be renewed each day.
We love and miss you all!!! Thank you for your continued support!
