Ischia Again

We went to Ischia for the second time this past weekend. It was just as beautiful as we remembered. This time, we went with a couple of friends. We rented what we thought was a hostel, but turned out to be more like a beach house....ants and all. Nonetheless, it was a very nice place to stay. All in all, it was a nice trip. The weather was beautiful up until the night before we left. The wind picked up and stayed strong the entire night. Then the ship ride back to Naples was extremely rocky.

This is the entrance of the apartment. The dining room table and the doorway to the guys' room. (Just for Chelsea...note the oval "window" to the left.) ;)

This was the bathroom. The shower part was a little strange and awkward, but the bath part was wonderful.

This was the kitchen...complete with fridge, washing machine, sink, stove, and dishes. :D

This is the guys' room. Their bed transformed into bunk beds. How nice.

This was the girls' room.

The other side of our room.

The view from our balcony.

Chelsea and Nick walking up to the castle we visited.

Chelsea and Nick on top of the castle. (You have to look really close...to the right of the tall part of the castle.)

A little closer up.

This is the hill the castle was on.

Jason and me waiting on Chelsea and Nick....we opted not to pay to go inside the castle.

Jason enjoying some time by the water.

A view from higher up on the mountain of Ischia.

Closer up.

Nice view.

Lots of vineyards.

This is my thumb after I sacrificially tried to help Chelsea with her seat belt in our lovely car, complete with sun roof, sort of.
