Highlight of the Day

It was so wonderful to be able to talk with our home church yesterday during the morning service. It was the highlight of our day! We really enjoyed seeing everyone and being able to share with you all face-to-face (sort of) the things that are going on here. We are so thankful for the technology that makes the distance between us seem so much smaller.

We feel bad that we have not posted any pictures lately, but we haven't been out and about due to being under the weather. We are still battling a cough that seems to be clinging to every organ we have. The muscles in our backs hurt because we've been coughing so much and so hard. Please continue to pray for the health of the team this week. We are all trying to recover and prepare for the upcoming weeks.

This Saturday and Sunday evening our supervisors are hosting Fall outreach parties for the children in their neighborhood. These parties were originally scheduled for the past weekend, but had to be moved due to the illness running through the team. Please begin praying for the children and the parents that will be attending these parties. Pray for open and soft hearts of the visitors. Pray that the team would recognize the opportunities to have spiritual conversations and that we would have the boldness to dive in and trust God for the words to say.

Please pray for each member of our team: (Charlie, Shannon, Paul, MacKenzie, Grace, Cortney, Jason, and Emily). Please pray that each of us would encounter God in a special and mighty way this week. Pray that a deep hunger for the Word would be instilled in each of our hearts. Pray that God would open our eyes to the things that we can do to encourage each other and push each other closer to God. Pray that God would unite our team, keeping our eyes focused on the work that He has called each of us to here in Napoli.
