Buona Domenica!

What a nice Sunday! Some friends from our church, Emanuele and Daniella, invited us to their house for lunch, along with another family. So, after the service, we all squeezed into their cars and Emanuele drove us to their house. They speak some English, so between their English and our Italian, we were able to understand each other with no problems.

When we arrived at their house, we were immediately amazed. There was green all around. They had a garden in the backyard where they were growing lots of vegetables. For lunch, Daniella made pasta with eggplant (my favorite), grilled bell peppers, baked zucchini, ragu, and cheese, and something green that I cannot remember the name of. Emanuele fired up his grill in the backyard and grilled some fish. Everything was very delicious. But, more importantly, it was great to have this kind of after service fellowship once again.
