Easter Eggs!!! Isn't that what Easter is all about??
Of course not. Easter is about celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The sacrifice He made on the cross 2,000+ years ago and His resurrection and conquering of death, are what give us the hope and joy that we have in this world, of one day being in the Kingdom He is preparing for us.
To celebrate this incredible day, we went into the mountains and had lunch and worshiped God together. Yes, we did have an egg hunt, too. :D It was a wonderful, and much needed, time with friends and the people we now know as family.

Shannon is laughing because she found an egg (hidden with love by Jason...what a joker) with rocks in it. I love to see Shannon laughing. It warms my heart!

Thank you all so much for all of your prayers for Jason's back. He is doing much better after a few weeks of rest. He's up and on his feet. We appreciate all of the support and encouragement during these past few weeks.
Praise God for blessings like this nearby a city of concrete!
